Laptop Won't recognize hdd

I have a Hp Pavilion dv6320 laptop. I can plug the hdd into an enclosure and all the partitions will show up on other computers but when I install the hdd into the laptop it will say that I have no hdd in the laptop. Any ideas of how I can get the laptop to read the hdd. I also tried putting new hdds in it but it will not read them either.

The dv6000 and 9000 series are known to do that.

Call HP and in warranty they swap out the motherboard.
