When you switch on the PC press F10 repeatedly until the recovery menu comes up. This does wipe the machine clean so have a backup copy of pictures, etc. before doing that.
My granddau has an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC with 3GB Ram, Vista Home Premium, AMD Turion 64x2. She has been continually unplugging the laptop without a proper shutdown. She may have logged off first, sometimes. Both administrator and user accounts have been solid blue screens with a taskbar. I tried restoring to an earlier date on administrator side & got the desktop icons back with taskbar, but a popup stated that a complete restore was not accomplished. I tried to restore the user account side and still only get the solid blue screen with a taskbar.
Does anyone know how to overcome and repair this problem to gain a complete restore?
All replies will be greatly appreciated.
