laptop will not connect to internet!

My wifi will not connect to my laptop. However, I am able to get on the internet via wifi with my phone and also my playstation. My computer isnt showing any connections available, it usually shows all connections near me but it says no networks available. I tried plugging my ethernet plug directly into my computer but that didnt work either. I don't believe my Internet is the problem since I can connect using other devices. I believe its my computer. I have tried shutting down my laptop and restarting as well as unplugging my router and replugging it just in case that was a problem and still nothing. any suggestions?
