laptop wakes up from sleep or hibernate on it's own

Feb 10, 2010 7:23PM PST

I've got my laptop set to sleep when closing the lid but it seems
to wake up on it's own. Anyway to set it so this doesn't happen?

Thanks,
Mike

I saw this setting was checked on my mouse. It's wireless and i always
turn it off. We'll see if this helps.

ran a test

With the mouse turned off it didn't wake the laptop up even with the
wake option checked. Of course with the mouse on it did so this eliminates the mouse. I'll leave it unchecked anyway. Anybody know
of anything else i can do?

Sleep, hibernate?

And what's connected?

Bluetooth can wake mine if I have it configured just so.
Not to write about bluetooth since each setup I encounter is never exactly the same dialog boxes. Talk about standards. Pick one.
