Use the native tools and features like System Restore since you could have rolled back to when it worked. Tinkering with it usually makes it worse. I'd still restore to when it worked.
Also some hit an error and instead of rebooting, start fixing it. Ouch.
So some weird error window came up when i started up my Acer Aspire 5536-5883 laptop with windows 7. It said some error happened about the launch manager. so I uninstalled the launch manager and downloaded it again on the acer support site. When I pressed the volume buttons above the keybored, the volume display was coming up in a different look, I didnt like it so I tryed just doing a system restore to put everything back to the way it was but now the volume display wont come up at all when I press the volume buttons.
How can I get my volume display to come up when I hit the volume buttons? It's really starting to frustrate me.
