don't take my word for it though (I have no such experience). Vga might be the only way (at least a cheap way). Convert hdmi signal to analog is not worth the effort or cost; Just my thought on that. Good luck.
I have a new ASUS laptop that only has VGA, and HDMI output. I have an older 60" Mitsubishi Big Screen that only has Composite or S video input. I also have a Sony "DV Hardware Codec Media Convertor" which has DV in/out, Composite in/out, and S video in/out (plus LANC).
So with that information can anyone tell me if and how I can watch laptop videos or DVD's on my Mitsubishi? Or am I screwed? There's got to be some sort of convertor cables that would do this, right? BTW, The picture quality is not really an issue here.
