Laptop to TV Problem.

I connected my IBM ThinkPad 2373 T42 laptop to TV using S-Video but I don't see anything on TV except Window's background. I am not an expect connecting laptop to TV. May be I need to make changes in the Display settings.Please Help.

Their troubleshooting guide makes me ask if you pressed Fn+F7.


The first thing they tell about using S-video out (page down to 'External video') is to study their 'Enabling TV-out Guide' (link provided). I trust this will make you an expert!

Sometimes I wonder why people don't read the manuals that came with the machine and don't know the way to the makers support site if they want to know something. That's a faster way than posting in a forum and hoping somebody happens to know the answer or takes the trouble to do your homework.

Change the < into a d (for document). The forum software corrupts the link. Sorry for that. I'll file it as a bug.
