Laptop, Tablet Combo !OR! Convertible touchscreen laptop

Ok so i am a student transferring to Virginia Tech as an engineering student this summer and there are computer requirements that the one i have doesn't meet.

There are 2 options, one is to have a Laptop, tablet (windows combo OR a touchscreen convertible laptop.

My Preferences (laptop):
- I play i decent amount of games so i would like a computer with a decent enough graphics card so no Intel HD because that's the one i have now and its absolutely useless.
- Mac's are also acceptable but with at least a 750 GB hard drive so i can partition some for windows. but because of their price tag i am leaning a bit away from them.

My Preferences (Tablet):
- not very picky about the tablet but they have to be windows 8
- i was also wandering if there any other tablets like the Razer Edge Pro gaming table but with a little lower price tag.

I do not need for both the laptop and the tablet to be for games but i am having a bit of trouble choosing good ones so if anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate it.
