Run all the scans by Grif he noted at http://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/how-to-remove-pup-option-603542/#post-f742c795-5881-433b-a29b-6d758efe5cd3
Get knowledgeable about your PC. Go get AUTORUNS from Microsoft (it's found with google) and learn what each line there does. Take back control of your PC as to what it runs. That is, unless the scans by Grif cleared it up.
Don't have the time for all this? Factory reset the machine. It will work as it did when new.
Hello! So I have laptop Asus K550J when I start up the laptop after a few minutes pops up a CMD window for a second and then the laptop shutsdown by itself. Also this happens only when is plugged on charger. That happens only once after I turn on the laptop. And a few days before that started to happen I used the automatic shutdown command in Run. And I tried stopping it by typing "shutdown -a" but nothing happened. I am guessing there is still some process running.
