Laptop screen blank, windows ME wont boot. help.

Nov 27, 2003 10:15AM PST

Hello, I am having a problem with my Toshiba Satellite 1735.

The power cord was plugged out as the laptop was on and the screen went blank and
did not come back. At that time the battery was dead.
I have turned it on and off over and over but nothing happens. The power light turns
on, but that is it.

Please help if you can. Thank you.

Simple, straight answers.

1. Is the laptop gone forever?
No.

2. Is it repairable?
Yes.

3. If it is repairable abou thow much would it cost?
From experience, up to about 1/2 of a new laptop. That's about the maximum I see.

Have you called the maker's service center on this?

You didn't reveal if you tried my last suggestion. Why?
