This is my number 2 This Seems great for Media which is one of the things im looking for but from what i Understand it cant really run games :/ im not looking for a hardcore gaming laptop just something what can run them.

So does anyone have recommendations Im looking for something 700$ and under I am willing to a bit over if worth it though and it must come with a webcam.

Core 2 Duo vs. Sempron is sort of like

Those Godzilla vs. Bambi movies. If you can, skip the single core CPU based units.

What games?

The NVIDIA GeForce 8200M is a nice touch but at the near bottom of 3D gamer chips. Yes, games should run. Just curb your expectations.

...the customer rewiews for either model haven't exactly set the world on fire.

I haven't read them, so don't know what the issues are, but the overall scores seem kinda low.

Still bottom tier gaming.

The HD 3200 noted widely but I'll read http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-780g-chipset,1785-10.html and CHEAT like crazy to write this might eek out barely 25 FPS on games like Serious Sam 2, Quake 4 and UT2004.

That's acceptable for laptop non-gamer units. To get better you should double your budget or just "get a laptop." For gaming, go get a 360, PS3 or Wii and see if you can use Gamefly. BIG SAVINGS.

Did you look at the new Macbooks? Their GPUs are in the zone.
