laptop Purchase

Hello all, I'm new to cnet so I'm excited. I'm not extremely tech savvy so I'm here to learn a lot more. I'm not really sure what to go with when it comes to Pc or Mac so I could really use some help. I have used both at work but I have embarked upon so new endeavors which include starting a graduate program at a seminary. I have also started a ministry which we Skype, twitter, facebook as well as conference. I do some sessions on youtube pages as well. I am also working on 2 books now as well. I thought providing this info would help everyone in evaluating what would work best for me. Any advice you folks could give would be great.
