Your inverter is putting out a square wave or chopped sine. Look again but search for a TRUE SINE model.
I don't now your exact Watts but take a Watt meter reading at peak then double that. Example search.

I'm wanting to use my laptop in my car. I have a 100w/1000w cat professional inverter. Sadly my laptop uses to much power for the 100w so I have to connect the inverter directly to the battery for the 1000w. It works fine, but my laptops power supply makes a slight buzzing sound. Is this something I should worry about. It doesn't make the sound when the inverter is plugged into a 12v outlet in 100w mode but laptop won't power on unless car is running and the inverter can only go about 5min before kicking in low voltage when set to 100w.
