Laptop picking dilemma

Okay. So I'm having an issue deciding on a laptop.
I am pretty dead-set on Sony Vaio computers. I had one of their 17" A-series recently, but thanks to some recent events it has fallen apart.
My computer needs are mostly for Internet, playing games like the Sims 3, storing music, and dabbling in photography. I tend to multitask a lot and want the computer to run smoothly so I thought that maybe upgrading a lot of things would be worth the price in the long run. Though I would prefer a 15.5", I can not find many Sony's smaller than 16" with a dedicated graphics card.
I can build a VGN-FW490 for $1,069 it includes:

Thank you. I've been snooping around on newegg and didn't see that. For the $120 more, would the other me worth it though? I have no idea what to be picky about and whats a good deal.
