But I see there's more cleaning needed. The fans should be removed and the junk in the fins removed. Then put the fans back on. If you think the fans need a little KAPTON tape (across the top IMO) to improve air flow then do that. That wool looks like accumulated hair to me. Get it out of there.

Hello! I have an Asus GL502VS and while I was cleaning the fans with a vacuum cleaner, it seems that I accidentally sucked out the material between the fans and the vents. This causes my laptop to overheat because not all of the heat gets out completely and some of it comes back to the hardware. My question is - what is that material called and where can I usually find it? It looks like some kind of wool but I am sure it's something else. Thank you!
