Laptop, notebook, or ?

by learni / November 14, 2010 2:43 AM PST

My husband is visually impaired. I would like to purchase a device that would allow us to look at photos/videos from our digital camera and search the net together. That's about all we'll do on it (we don't do gaming, and have a desktop for printing, etc.). Screen size and clarity are important, as is ease of operation. We're not tech-savvy. Battery life is a factor, portability less so. Price doesn't enter in too much, but I'd like not to pay for features we don't need and won't use.
Thanks for your help

Looks like "other than Windows?"

One Windows machine works like the next so did you try out an Apple?

Most of the Apple laptops have 1000 cycle batteries so life is more than 3 times that of your average Windows laptop so that's a win for Apple.
