It's a common reset in many devices. It's in the CNET Forums many times and in the sticky.
Did you try a new CMOS battery? Why? Cheap, could be it and if not what's next is expensive. (motherboard.)
Few days back, I connected my laptop to charging and go to the market and when I came and trying to ON my laptop, my laptop not started but only charging. Then, I read something about ELECTRICITY COGGING. I fix this problem by using trick (see image - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-wBokNCcz1sYzyLT3qQxhu3whgglDs5e/view?usp=drivesdk)
Now today, also after charging, my laptop not starting but shows charging and I am not able to fix my laptop by the previous trick.
After trying many times,
I disconnect my adapter cable from laptop and removed battery,
Then, hold and press power button and connect power adapter to laptop with battery removed and then release power button,
Then only my laptop starts.
Same thing happen with battery also.
And when I press power button in windows working mode,
screen goes off and I need to remove battery. Then, starting my laptop with this process.
I was running my laptop on battery for sometime.
Then, I connected power adapter to the laptop without powered ON the main switch of socket board. Afterthat, my laptop screen goes off.
And now I am not able to start my Laptop by holding and pressing power button as previously.
Now my laptop starts, the ON indication LED glows and goes off after 3-4 seconds.
Please help!!!!
What type of problem is this?
Is my power button broken?
Or any other hardware issue.
My laptop is out of warranty.
