I purchased a laptop which can with vista Home the first year of HP Vista. however, after following the directions to create a back up on a disk it copied onto the recovery hard drive which created low memory and now I want to restore my disk drive after paying HP for a recovery disk, and would like to add more memory. My concerns are: If I take my lap to a company that HP did not contract with under warranty, and repair charges are very expensvie to recovery the drive and add memory than a computer repair store, will I run into more trouble using the computer company with the lower price for repairs and add-ons? Also if I add more memory will my lap run faster and show audio video's?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
