Sorry but that's a good way to cause a heat issue. And could kill a laptop. The fix usually is a new motherboard which is usually the end of the laptop due to cost.
Try doing your yearly cleaning of vents with the canned air and see if it helps. Remember that such cleaning is well discussed with YouTubes aplenty so I pause here.
Sad story though.
My friend borrowed my laptop for work for about 2 hours in an aircond room, while placing it on top of a pillow.
Then after she's done i took it back and used it to surf the net for another 2 hours and then went to eat while leaving it on, when I came back this problem occured. I started it on safe mode but the same problem still persists.
Is there any way to solve this?? ? Thanks.
