Crucial tests such to work in your laptop, the other is a roll of the dice.
Best of luck.
Just bought a new Compaq Presario V2000Z laptop, and looking at increasing the RAM. It has 512MB with one empty slot. I was going to just add another 512MB stick but I saw on Newegg this:
Crucial 1GB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 333 (PC 2700) Notebook Memory for $115.00
Crucial 1GB 200-pin SODIMM DDR PC3200 for $195
The only difference I see is with the speed. Is that really going to make that much of a difference, and just double checking will the one from newegg fit my laptop?
