laptop loses wireless conection

Hi Folks hope you can help with this one
Recently bought a laptop for my daughter,everything was working fine then all of a sudden when she connected the mains adapter the laptop loses its internet conection (wireless). The conection is fine when you unplug it from the mains. The laptop is an acer Aspire 5050 running with windows xp professional, wirelesss broadband is with ntl. Any help greatly appreciated, cheers guys

Sorry, the usual WIFI troubleshooting techniques and tips do not apply here. You'll need to get NTL to tell you what to try.
