Sort of confusing, so now the L/T is dead? If it powers on, try using an external USB keyboard and see if it will read it, if so, get to control panel and look at settings, keyboard etc.
Hi,
I have been using an ACER Extenza 4620Z model laptop for more than an year now ( my warranty is expired ). Earlier, the battery had stopped working for some reason. Hence, I have been using the laptop by removing the battery and directly plugging it to the power.
A few days ago, while I was using the computer, the keyboard and touch pad stopped responding. I was chatting at that time, and I could still see responses from the person with whom I was chatting, so I reasoned that the problem was just with my 2 input devices. I switched off the power supply and tried to power my computer back on. However, I realized that I could not do this as even my power key on the keyboard does not seem to be responding ( Even the light that turns on behind this particular switch when you press it is not working ).
Could you please provide some insight on what might have caused this and what can be done about it ? Thanks !!
