Question

Laptop for programming, computer graphics and games

Apr 3, 2018 11:22PM PDT

Hey,
I'm in need of a new laptop but I have no idea which one will suit me best. I'm studying computing and when I try to use Android Studio, a browser and, say, Gimp simultaneously on my current laptop, the result is dramatic.

I need something stronger that will handle it. I'd also like to play some games on it, I'm not a big gamer but I like to play from time to time and if buying a new laptop, I cannot imagine it being unanle to run games on at least medium.

I'd normally just buy a gaming laptop but they are usually very big and heavy and I'd rather have a smaller (14") one that I can take with me to university. What laptop will be the most suitable for me? Preferably < $1100.
