Hmm, i guess not? Since they specifically mentioned Windows XP professional. But I'm thinking that Windows Vista would do just fine too? Anyway, are there any implications if i want to downgrade Windows Vista to Windows XP? and how should i go about doing the downgrade.

But to pick up the business version cheap I go to the staples, officemax, officedepot.com, look for sales and Dell of course.

I'd check your choice with the school's IT staff first.
