Question

Laptop for dad in hospital

Oct 4, 2015 8:13PM PDT

So I'm looking for a laptop for my dad who is in the hospital and will be there for a while. My parents have been needing a new computer so now seems like a good time to get on. Tried an Ipad with a keyboard case and also with a wireless mac keyboard but the keyboards are too small for him.

Here are some things I'm looking for in the laptop:
- Something around a 13" display
- Relatively light weight
- A good keyboard that is big enough for his slightly chubby fingers (this is really important)
- something that won't get real hot (he will be using it on his lap)
- minimal bloatware

I think that is about it. It can be PC or Mac. I'm going to look at Mac's tomorrow but as a PC user myself the Mac keyboards have always felt a lot different to me so I'm not sure they will work.

Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Thanks

Laptops in such places "walk out"

Think about securing it too.

For this, I'd go cheap.
