Question

Laptop for college and gaming

Jan 24, 2015 11:18PM PST

Hi, I'm starting college this year and I need a new laptop because my old one was broken and I decided it would be more useful to buy a new one than to repair the old one. Anyway, I'm going to study music, music technology and psychology, which means that I need a laptop that's comfortable to use for music producing and such things + everyday networking (facebook, tumblr etc) but I also love playing The Sims 3 so the laptop needs to be good enough for that. It doesn't have to have super deluxe high graphics but it should be atleast that good that it won't crash and would be smooth while playing. My previous laptop was Asus 17'' (I don't have it anymore so I don't remember what series it was) and I was really happy with it for 4 years. But also one of the problems is that I can't decide if I want a 15'' or 17'' screen because 15'' one is easier to carry around to college etc but it's really quite frustrating to play Sims on 15'' so 17'' would be better for that. Could someone please give me some advice and bring out some laptops that may be suitable for me? (maximum price 1450$)Thank you

For gaming purpose you should need to buy a laptop, which is having great graphics and RAM also. So, you should check HP Envy TouchSmart 14-k102TX 14-inch, HP Envy TS 17-j102TX 17.3-inch and Dell Inspiron 17R 5737 17.3-inch laptops.
