I can say that I don't think it will be PC-less. That being said, I think you'll see tech companies looking at these events and other high-touch events more carefully since marketing budgets have tightened. I'll keep an eye on that list, though.

I was planning to go to CES'010 to surf every laptop, netbook, notebook, tablet and hardcore DESktop known to man, but when I check their site, there is NOTHING relating to PC, just stereos, TVs, digital imaging, etc. Dell is not even listed as an exhibitor, and search HP only brings up inkjets. I thought CES kinda TOOK OVER where COMDEX left off, with always big MSFT keynotes, etc., but this year it seems completely PC-less. Is this a STRATEGIC SHIFT in CES? Did something happen during '09? or are they lurking under some other rubric that I don't recognize.
