It was susceptible to the VISTA BROADCAST FLAG issue. Since I could not wait for the maker to fix it I installed a new router.
The hard part is that for most folk, they don't want this to be the answer or want some way to test it out ahead of time. For now that's a bit of a mystery but why the tech is sent out with a spare router.

Hope someone can help me with this,
Have 4 laptops all running windows 7 on home wirelss network, which works fine with good speeds until one of the laptops (samsung notebook) is brought in to the equation. When this is online the connection (DSL not wireless netowrk) generally drops out in about 5 mins. If the samsung is the only one on the network it works fine. completely baffelled!
the other laptops are toshiba and pb, all 2-3 years old
any suggestions?
any elp much apperciated!
