Question

Laptop doesnt boot

Sep 20, 2018 11:39PM PDT

Hi all

I wonder if you can help me please.
I have a lenovo ideapad 110.
Was having some issues so I decided to do a system restore. It got stuck for hours on the blue screen saying it was restoring files etc. The battery then ran out. When I started it up it comes on with Lenovo icon and a buffering symbol below then goes to a black screen and just stays like that.
I have tried FN F8 and I cant get into safe mode. It doesnt do anything pressing the F buttons.
Any ideas please

Thanks

- What OS on your laptop?
- What issues did you have?
- What is the "buffering symbol"?
- What recovery discs do you have?

Well, friend, you can use your recovery disk to restore the previous version. Or better you can install new OS in your system with the help of installation disk.

No boot

Hi
I have windows 10 and it had stopped connecting to the internet so i thought i would try to restore to a point in time when it did as update happened the day before.
It then got stuck on the blue screen for hours.
The buffering symbol i mean is the one that goes round and round. That stops, lenovo disappears and goes to a black screen as if booting but nothing happens.
I dont have any discs for it.
The F keys to get into safe mode dont seem to work as nothing happens
