Laptop displays

Nov 14, 2009 8:42PM PST

I'm looking to buy 2 laptop displays. One is for an HP G60-445DX 16" & the other is a Gateway MS2252 display. I don't need the whole laptop, just the displays for my Marine friends here in Afghanistan. Could someone please point me in the right direction??

Thank you very much.

Dave

That would be ebay or craigslist.

These forums are not for sale or such so you shouldn't find much here for that.

Thanks, But I've already looked at e-Bay. I'm working with the Marines in Afghanistan and 2 of the guys broke their laptop displays horsing around and I thought I'd be able to get some advise.

Thanks anyway.

Out.

Then back to the makers.

They have spares. But maybe you skipped another source of parts. Some look for "just the display" and won't look at a complete machine that has a fried port or motherboard. We buy that entire machine and use the parts we need from that.

Cheers Brother,

That's what I've done before from e-Bay. I thought there might be a different avenue.

Thanks man.

If you're going the used route...

Make sure you're really, really sure what you're getting sold is in good working order - especially with something like displays.

Hope you can get these for your friends.

Stay safe.

Cheers,

Ron
