It turned out the client was running torrents and other apps that do cause this. They could not be helped. It's sort of like an addiction.
For now, turn off this setting in this link.

Since I'm not there and don't have access to the laptop you may be stuck with MSI support. I've seen this issue but for the time being it's been tracked down to torrent use or a machine or driver fault. Good luck with this one.
Ever since a windows 10 update about six months ago, my laptop has randomly been disconnecting from the internet but not from the router. The computer is an MSI 4E70 2QE Apache pro. At the advice of MSI I wiped it and reinstalled everything fresh. Problem continued. I was told it was probably a bad wireless card, so it went back to the seller under warranty. They tested it by running it for 24 hours, no disconnects. They sent it back. It continued so I would assume it would be the router. However there are other computers and devices in the home that have no issues. I have tried multiple fixes found on the internet, updating the firmware and software, changing settings for the wireless. No luck. SO my question is, do I buy a new router or try to find someone to fix the computer or give up and buy a new computer. This one is not even 18 months old.
