laptop died need files on hard drive?

My laptop died. I need files from my hard drive. Anyway to retrieve pictures docs etc It was a Dell Inspiron E1705 Any hel woul be appreciated

Obtain an External USB HD Enclosure..

There are hard drive enclosures which are sized for laptop hard drives. Remove the drive from the laptop, slap it in the enclosure, then hook it up to the USB port on any other computer.. You should be able to retrieve the files.
