Touch pad issues can be hardware or driver issue. I find it cheaper to plug in a mouse. Your scans and other work suggest this is a hardware failure.
Hi,
I am facing a serious problem with my Dell Inspiron laptop. My Laptop cursor not seems smooth when problem occurs and click button from tough pad also not responds. Same time page goes to bottom down. If I try to move if from bottom to up it don't work neither by clicking nor by arrow keys. Same time If I am on terminal window then after pressing numeric keys(from Function button) some character( ~)occurs on screen(either one or two times and sometimes continuously). Same time these numeric button works fine on other places (notepad, word, etc,). All these issues vanished/resolved after pressing left shift key button. But it again arriving and I am unable to work.
I searched a lot with google and tried all the suggestion like: reinstalling tough pad driver, installing-reinstalling driver, mouse or keyboard setting, startup setting, key disable by sharpkeys and other software, and also tried formatting my system. Fully scan with antivirus and spyware scanner.
Here I am submitting my request so that nay one can help and suggest for its resolution.
Please help.
