I keep it ontop of a cooling bay so its quite cool mostly. But it can crash within 2 minutes. From not being on in a few days to launching a game. I have checked all the drivers and such and everything seems upto date

Honestly, your symtoms sound like a heat issue. Are you sure your fans are operating correctly? Being it's a high performance PC, you should check both, the case fan and video card fan.

Laptop, says it all

If you had no issues until recently, then being a laptop and probably a good one, it gave up the ghost. It took that long and of top of all the suggestions offered here, it maybe time it did. If you game often and you check the innards of the laptops, there is only a small fan(s) doing all the cooling. the laptop cooler probably offered a prolonged use until it finally hit the wall. i suspect either the cpu or gpu is going. typical fix is to re-apply the thermal compound, properly and hope for the best. While opening the case, inspect the fan(s) of any dust clog and blow-out that well. the truth be told, if this laptop wasn't sold a s a "gaming one" then you got the best it can offer. Even a gaming build laptop is prone to the same problems from "heat stress", it just is. Alas, the real fix if nothing seems to fix it is to replace the mtrbd. and verifying the cpu is good swap it out. Otherwise, it can only get worse. Since, you claim it's still under warranty, they are suppose to support before you tear it apart or similar. Start the warranty process and if you run for some time then do a back-up ASAP.
