May 7, 2018 6:58PM PDT

Could someone help me decide which one of these laptops would be best for general use, portability and some video/photo editing?
Here they are:

Dell Inspiron 13 5000

Asus Vivobook

That list may include some hundred models. I worry that anyone can go over that many models.

Can you be more specific?

laptop specifications

Sorry about that. Here are some links to amazon for the laptops I listed with specifications that are what I would want. with my $500-$600 price range, I will most likely be shopping for a deal on the one I pick.

here is the Asus vivobook:

this is the normal Asus Zenbook (I added the Zenbook flip listing below as well just for good measure)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075N1YHVK/?coliid=I1SAQG3AQBLF1Y&colid=1O2V2J2B26S3R&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Asus Zenbook flip:

this is the Dell Inspiron 13 5000

I'll look deeper later. But

I have had complaints about the Tent Mode during Skype use and the camera being at the bottom. The complaint is it looks up your nose. Be sure you know this going in.

All seem nearly identical as to RAM and maybe the CPU. All have the usual SSD for the OS with one being the 128GB+1TB combo. That makes you work a little harder to keep C clean. Are you seasoned enough to deal with that?

probably not

I don't really know how two hard drives in a computer even works. But I can always research it if I need to.

It works fine. More.

So the small SSD has the OS with little extra room so with each app you install you must watch it like a hawk or run out of space faster than you can imagine.

So while it works, it can stress new to this issue users.

The Line of Difference
May 8, 2018 11:57PM PDT

If I compare Asus Zenbook/ Zenbook Flip and Asus Vivobook then the first point of difference is the specifications. Asus Zenbook series is incorporated with high-end hardware as compared to Asus Vivobook. Asus Zenbook series has a higher price as compared to Vivobook. But personally, I would recommend going with Zenbook, if you want good display, features, looks, and speed. Zenbook flip is equally good but with a slight difference that its screen can be adjusted according to the user requirement.

Few best options available in Zenbook are:
-ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop
-ASUS ZenBook UX430UA
-ASUS ZenBook UX303UA

Dell Inspiron 13 5000 is also good enough comes with a 2-in-1 design. It has a good processor if compared to the above options.

If you want more insight to this quation then you are requested to be more specific to the choice of the laptop.
