Laptop Charging Issue

Have Asus X553M laptop with 2.16GHz processor and 2GB of RAM.
Once it powers up to 100% battery, it doesn't get charged until it drains out to 0%. When the cursor is pulled up on battery icon it states "30% available, (plugged in, not charging)". Can I fix it out or should it be replaced? (Product is still under warranty).

In warranty means

You should let them fix it because anything you do could result in them voiding your warranty.

Before sending in try this...

An earlier dated post handles a software corruption issue that was causing problems with the PC preventing it from charging.

Click this link to see the topic. And if that doesn't work send it in. R.Proffitt is right, it's not worth voiding the warranty if you have one.
