Laptop charger

Aug 13, 2014 3:10AM PDT

Hi,
I bought a VIEWTAB R116 tablet in 2011 from Amazon.

It's been great until last week when the charger broke.

This laptop came from China and I have no idea what charger to buy for it.

Can anyone help please. I miss using it

Thank you Happy

Hi
I'm sorry, I know it's a tablet and not a laptop. Blonde moment there.

I forgot to mention I'm in Ireland too lol

So I can buy from Ireland or the UK

Thanks for replying

Charger
Aug 13, 2014 4:26AM PDT

Hi Bob,

Thank you for the link.
This charger looks great. It goes straight from the tablet to the wall charger???

I ask because the charger that broke last week was in 2 sections.

It had a clover leaf connection from the socket plug. It had a black box that the cloverleaf lead fitted into.

Will it be ok having a charger without the black box ?

Thank you Happy

Sorry

But this being the usual MIC (made in China) MID tablet the only help I can offer is that it appears to require a rather bog standard 5 Volt 2 Ampere source. Now being in the UK we have need of the usual plug and mains input voltage but I couldn't nail which millimeter jack it used. For that you get out your calipers and take the measure.
