Laptop Cable?/Printer

Hello, I'm very un technology and I need some help
1st: I recently bought a Dell Insiron 1525 and am wondering if there is a way for me to hook it up to cable television without a TV?

2nd:Can someone tell me a good printer to buy for under 100bucks, it doesn't have to do anything special, it just can't be a Dell, because i have had some bad experiences with them.

Some answers:

1: Yes, look into TV tuner cards. I'll just say now that you might not be all that happy with the results.

2: Check the site and sooner or later you're bound to see something like a Samsung ML-2010 laser printer show up for about $50. Inkjet printers are a ripoff IMO. The hardware is crap, and they gouge you like crazy for the ink carts. A toner cart for one of those Samsung laser printers will only be $10-15 more, and it's good for around 5,000 pages... As opposed to maybe 50-100 for an inkjet. You can't beat laser printers on price per page.
