They tend to be 2 to 3 year affairs. About durable, that's defined as "Able to withstand wear, pressure, or damage; hard-wearing." Which means I want something like the Panasonic Toughbook.

Does anyone have any experience buying a laptop for around 400-500 dollars?
I am looking for the standard college kid laptop, I just want to run Microsoft Office, run itunes and chrome. I'm looking for durability and longevity, my dell just died after two years, possibly because I made the poor thing run dragon age and oblivion.
