I have an acer r14, when I start it, it gets past the the windows login in screen and then either I get artifacts and it shuts down. Or throws a bsod code and then shutsdown, any ideas? Thanks

What happens if you boot from a Linux disc (free to make)? If there are issues then also, it's hardware issue that needs repair. That's very likely.

Be sure all USB things are unplugged, the unit is nice and cool on a cooling pad and remove any added RAM.
