I'm ready to purchase a higher end laptop, looking at a Dell XPS 16, Lenovo W700, etc. As long as I'm going to drop $2K on a laptop I want it to have a blu-ray drive. Dell hasn't had a blu-ray drive option for the XPS for at least 8 weeks. Lenovo similarly doesn't have an option. Chat with Dell indicates they don't have the drives in stock and don't know when they are getting any. Lenovo representatives say the same thing. Are all these companies getting their drive from the same source? Is there some manufacturing problem with Blu-ray drives? Anyone know when they will be available again?
I tried searching the existing forums for answers. Didn't find a thread on this issue. Hope I'm not asking a question that's already been answered.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
