For example the battery life extender setting would limit the charge to 80 or so percent to maximize the life span of the battery. This however can confuse owners that want a 100% charge.
As to the sudden hibernation that's anyone's guess but I'd ask the maker for support on that.
Again, it sounds like the battery life extender setting is on, not a calibration issue.
I recently purchased a ASUS R558UQ from it's exclusive store. After around 1 month of usage, yesterday I noticed that the charge percentage of my laptop didn't seem to increase. I kept it on charge at 80% while watching a movie. When checked after 30 minutes the charge percent remained the same. Sometimes it charges till 90% and it gets stuck there. Notification still showing plugged in and charging
Following a battery calibration process the issue still stands adding sudden hibernation while using. Can someone please tell me what's wrong? Thank you.
