laptop advice screen size

i need a laptop with a higher height resolution than 900. the program i use is drafting program and the higher height is a must. im looking for any laptop under $1000.00. most laptop i've looked at are 1600X900 screen resolution and my menus get cut off. thanks

To get 1920 x 1080

or 1920 x 1200 your going to have to look at screens sizes 15.6 and above. Even that most of the 15.6" screen will be less then that. The companies that make the better gaming machine are most likely to have the 15.6" with higher resolution( Asus and MSI). It also make be hard to find them at mass markey sites as Best Buy.
