Laptop accessories and tips

by pcnewbie / January 24, 2006 4:50 AM PST

Just purchased HP dv5020 and since this is my first laptop, want to know what I have to do and basic accessories before I even turn it on, such as connection. I have roadrunner for my desktop and purchased a cable router. I have a carrier(back-pack), and printer. Thank you

u need (if u travel a lot or if u use the laptop alot outside your house) another battery, USB mouse, one of those things to clean the screen, if your laptop heat a lot a fan station.

a helpfull tip:
*It is proved scientificly that laptops don't like liguids.

*Dont let ur laptop fall.

*Use a top-best antivirus, and a internet blocker, or internet anti-hacker, download ad-aware + microsoft antispyware + spybot search & destroy + more protection, this programs dont weight more than 30mb, use as many as u can, but don't use a lot or they can cause conflicts, or slow startup Wink

*Delete Norton :|, norton don't work, i tell u, beleave me, use Kaspersky( Kasperky anti-virus personal & Kasperky anti-hacker), Panda platinium, Avast!. or BitDefence <---comes whit a great firewall.

*Use one of those USB wirreless adapters, they work better than those wirreless or bluetooth thing laptops come whit.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
