I need to buy a new laptop. Does anyone have an idea of which brand to buy? Right now I have HP, I will not buy this brand again.

Personally, I avoid any and all laptops except Apple, Dell, and Toshiba. I also avoid the lower end models from Dell and Toshiba.

The lowest priced models. You usually see them with the older dual core pentium (or less) and the value AMD CPUs. You'll know them by the price.
