Sennhesier, Audio-Technica and Rode are all good names for Lavalier mics. Mics that are wired to the camera rather than radio will give better performance and less interference but your choice will depend on the type of filming you want to do. If your outside do fit the mic with a "deadcat" wind barrier.
Hi i have a canon hg10 hdd video camera and want to know what the best lapel mic will work with it. I am interested in the SAMSON AIRLINE MICRO RE-CHARGEABLE WIRELESS CAMERA SYSTEM WITH LAPEL MICROPHONE. But i have tried others but sound quality is poor. They were cheaper options and the samson is considerably more expensive. But before i spend $399 on i want to make sure it works with my camera. Thanks in advance guys
