Can I remove the hard disk from my laptop and use it as an eternal hard disk?

Yes.

Assuming you have a few screw-drivers.

But data on a disk isn't eternal. I suppose you mean external.

Yes but you want to have

an internal boot drive. You will just need to take the drive out and purchase an USB connected external drive case.
