LAN automatically disconnect

by qianchq / November 9, 2007 10:51 AM PST

Hi, there:
I have a Dell poweredge 400sc. My operating system is windows XP home edition SP2. Recently, I have some problems with my network conection. A few days ago, the web browser became extremely slow at some point, although good at other time. But right now, whenever my network card searched for IP address, it is automatically disabled by some program. So I couldn't go online at all. I am sure the network connection is good though. What do you think the problem?

My computer is connected via LAN to our company server that automatically assign IP address for me. My antivirus software Norton. You mean my computer automatically remove me from the network or the server prevent me from accessing the network?
