OK, The biggest problem here is people needing to get where they're going, even if it means cutting off the person to their right or left to save 5 seconds.
Manners: In today?s society, not only isolated to the US, but the US is one of the biggest problems. If more people would look out not only for their self, but look out for that person that is giving a polite signal in plenty of time and needs to merge into your lane. Let them in! And speaking of that note, remember to give plenty of time when signaling a lane change or even leaving a parking lot. It's not being ridiculous, it being cautious. If people would observe a little of the old fashion manner and polite attitude on the roads you would see a tremendous difference.
Example: I recently took a trip to Germany, on business of course, but none the less, I got to experience the autobahn. It really was a pretty good experience. I encountered very few of the individuals that cut you off or wouldn't get out of the left lane. I think it was the best driving experience I've had in a long time. Mostly due to their I need to get out of the way attitude. Not just on the autobahn, but everywhere the biggest thing I saw that eliminated road rage, was the way they got out of the way if you were gaining on them in the left lane. This was just terrific to me, I hadn't experience this in ..., well never. Anyway it was great!
Conclusion: Just one thing, remember to move when you?re in the left lane and your not going as fast as that person behind you. Remember that 5 seconds or 5 minutes you save when going to work or where ever you?re heading, isn't going to make a hill of beans bit of difference no matter what your job is, emergency response excluded of course. Speaking of them, one last thing, get out of their way!
I could go on and on.
Thanks for your time.
