Question

LaCie 500.11 GB

I was given wrong advice to removed data on my
LaCie. Told to drag icon to Trash.
I did and now can't get it back.

Using Disk Utility, LaCie appears and Untitled suggesting a new name for drive.

I can drag my HD to Source, but the LaCie will not
move to Destination. The Untitled does move.
Problem with Untitled, it stops in 5 minutes or less.
This is under Restore.

How can I restore the LaCie for use?

As in 6 folk read your post.

I am left to guess this is on some Apple computer and you may have to use Apple's procedures on initializing the drive for use.
